Client Description:
The Client's EDP team is building a cutting-edge, internal platform to accelerate software product development and delivery, addressing the complex challenges of the energy sector.
The role of a DevOps Engineer will be focusing on Data Services portability and automation towards smooth, robust and reliable operations. This includes taking ownership for CI/CD pipelines and supporting the team to deploy efficiently and effectively. This role contributes to bring our Data services into different target environments and help to manage the lifecycle of these services
Responsibilities:
CI/CD and Automation: Integrate continuous testing within pipelines using tools like GitLab and Argo CD. Strong emphasis on automation with security best practices.
Engineering Excellence: Focus on long-term, secure infrastructure solutions. Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) to support continuous deployments.
Security Awareness: Implement security measures, including SSL/TLS encryption and secret management, with a focus on zero-trust and least privilege concepts.
Reliability: Proactively address technical challenges and ensure the system's reliability.
Documentation: Document implementations and best practices.
Candidate Profile:
I/CD and Automation: Experience with tools like GitLab, ArgoCD, GitOps, and Helm charts.
Kubernetes Expertise: Deep understanding of Kubernetes (both managed and on-prem), including networking and storage.
Infrastructure Management: Proficiency in tools like Terraform, experience with cloud networking, and an understanding of storage technologies.
Data Storage Technologies: Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases.
