Client Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Operations Lead to oversee the operational aspects of products running in production environments within the DevOps Enablement (DOE) product line. As the Operations Lead, you will manage proactive maintenance, resolve operational issues, and work closely with Platform Operations at the EDP program level. You will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality, reliable operation of DOE products in alignment with organizational standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Establish and lead a high-performing operations team to support DOE products in production.
  • Incident & Problem Management: Develop, implement, and manage processes for incident, problem, and change management.
  • Release & Operations Management: Oversee release management, ensuring dependencies are proactively managed and operational impact is minimized.
  • Collaboration: Work with architects, product managers, and the delivery team to validate product readiness and ensure a smooth transition to operations.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality assurance measures to maintain high standards for products and services.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improving processes and increasing efficiency in the DOE product line.
  • Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks to service quality and operational performance.


Candidate Profile:

  • Experience in Cloud Technologies: Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, hybrid cloud environments, and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • DevOps Expertise: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and DevOps best practices (CodeBuild, ArgoCD, GitOps).
  • Security & Compliance: Familiarity with security tools (AquaSec) and static code analysis tools (SonarQube).
  • Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage operational teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to identifying and solving issues.
  • Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Process-Oriented: Ability to implement best practices in incident, problem, and change management.
