Client Description:

A global leader in pharmaceuticals and diagnostics is looking for a Scrum Master to join project focused on expanding global and local pre-approval patient access to innovative medicines


Responsibilities:

  • Servant Leadership/Removing Obstacles: As the leader of 3 Agile teams (10-15 members each) spread across India, Portugal, and Poland, the Product Manager must be proactive in removing blockers, ensuring that the team operates smoothly, and fostering an environment where collaboration is key.
  • Promoting Collaboration: Regular engagement with team members to build strong relationships, promoting open communication between development teams and business stakeholders (largely located in Basel), and creating a cohesive working culture.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously identifying areas for improvement in processes, facilitating retrospectives, and ensuring that teams evolve and improve with each iteration.
  • Agile Principles and Scrum Mastery: Familiarity with Scrum and Agile principles is essential, with the ability to coach the team and ensure Agile practices are followed. A certified Scrum Master (e.g., SAFe 5, PSMI) with experience in managing Agile teams is highly sought.
  • Facilitating Agile Practices: Supporting teams in managing Jira boards, aligning sprint readiness, and ensuring smooth collaboration across virtual teams.
  • Stakeholder Management: Building bridges with business stakeholders, ensuring requirements are well-defined, and ensuring smooth communication between development teams and Product Owners.


Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development.
  • At least 3 years of experience coordinating and managing IT projects in global, multicultural environments.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading medium to large projects.
  • Proficient in English (C1 level or higher).
  • Experience with SAFe
