For our Client, a high-profile tomato products' producer, we are currently seeking for a position of a Trade Marketing & Category Manager.


Zakres odpowiedzialności:

Main responsibilities:


  • Lead category reviews, develop recommendations to drive growth.
  • Have a robust view on the sector, category & consumer trends and be able to identify future opportunities and gaps.
  • Support the sales teams to deliver the category story and unlock growth across a demanding customer base.
  • Bring together shopper insights, market and retailer data to best understand and present the market trends and the consumer dynamics.
  • Deliver agreed reporting schedule to retailers/distributors ensuring that range review recommendations and NPD performance tracking are delivered in a timely manner that fits retailer/distributor planning.
  • Work with the Marketing and Sales teams to create compelling category stories for branded innovation / listings.
  • Support the development and execution of trade marketing plans / promo plans / NPD launches linking with key stakeholders throughout the process.
  • Use category insights to deliver shopper marketing plans (together with retailers/distributors) and execute instore activations.
  • Work with the distributor to create a fully integrated shopper marketing campaign aligned to the Polish marketing plans.
  • Develop a strong and collaborative relationship with buyers, distributors, and retail media agencies.
  • Help manage the trade marketing budget for maximum ROI and track performance against KPIs.


Profil kandydata:

What are we looking for:

 

We are looking for a proactive professional who has successfully operated at Category / Trade / Shopper Marketing Manager level within a branded FMCG Supplier. Candidates who have accelerated brand expansions and masterminded impactful shopper campaigns would be of high interest for this opportunity. Cross-functional experience in other marketing functions (such as consumer insights or brand), or sales functions would be beneficial. Customer facing experience (main retailers), presenting data / analysis / recommendations, is key.

 

To be successful in this role it is essential you can:

 

  • Demonstrate a track record of category and trade marketing experiences within a dynamic environment.
  • Be analytical, creative and have a passion for collating data to drive insights.
  • Be able to story tell and bring recommended solutions from the insights.
  • Be resourceful, building winning plans from the data available (Nielsen and customer specific data platforms)
  • Have a good understanding of the full Shopper Journey and each touchpoint.
  • Effectively communicate and be able to influence others.
  • Display courage, passion and creativity to identify opportunities internally and externally.
  • Lead by example and be an ambassador for a company.
  • Be passionate about high quality food brands and understand its health, environmental, community and lifestyle benefits.
  • Have a growth mindset, being bold, ambitious and entrepreneurial
  • Adapt into a ‘start-up’ business environment
  • Have English proficiency
